Here at AberAdventures we offer packages in surfing and blokarting, tailor made for schools and youth groups. In order to make these affordable and acessible to all we offer exclusive special rates.  

We are mid Wales' only British Surfing Association, performance level approved surf school. Our surf instructors are NARS Beach Lifeguard qualified and B.S.A. instructors. Safety is first and foremost. Groups not only get the best and safest introduction into surfing, but learn all about beach, board and water safety, identifying hazards and basic emergency protocols.

Groups are offered the opportunity to undertake the B.S.A. Junior surfer scheme, an ability graded scheme with 5 different levels to aim for. (Copies are available for you to view.)

We have availability for 10 to 20 students for our 6 session packages. During this time, for those participating in the scheme it is possible for most to achieve levels 1 and 2 and be well on the way to level 3. More advanced packages are also available as our instructors are qualified to coach to beginners through to competition level surfers.

Our instructors are fully qualified by the British Land Speed Sailing Association.

Blokart packages are aimed at smaller groups of 4. Students learn all about this fast and exciting activity and can go from complete novices to race standard in just 3 sessions! They will also learn safety aspects, sailing protocols, equipment care and how to put the karts together.

Blokart controls are hand operated allowing students who may not be able to participate in other activities enjoy this fantastic activity equally with others.

We can sometimes offer this activity on site, after suitability and risk assessments have been carried out.

We have full liability insurance, risk assessments, NOP,EAP's,  instructor qualifications and full CRB checks available for you to view on request.

We have set packages but tailor made programmes can be arranged.

Penglais School.

The coaches at Aber Adventures made every wave seem catch-able for the pupils at Penglais. Their flat water contingency plans were so much fun, some pupils forgot they'd come to the lesson to surf! Our pupils left the 6 week lesson blocks confident in water safety and proud of their achievements. They developed new bonds and friendships across the year groups within school and all left with the amazing ability to stand on a surf board! Cheers guys! Can't wait for the summer term surf sesh!
